According to Intuit’s web site, there are seven key features and benefits available with the Manufacturing & Wholesale Edition. All are available in the “plain” premier version except the specific navigator, forms that have been customized for manufacturers and wholesalers, and the following three reports. While some of these reports could be created by filtering, they would not provide the exact same look.
- 1. Open Purchase Order by Item – An Open Purchase Order Report is available in total or by job, but not sorted by the item.
- 2. Profitability by Product – For inventory items, the sales by item summary has the gross margin and percent columns included. This report, however, is available for all item types.
- 3. Sales by Class and Item Type – This summary report does not have anything similar except in this industry specific version.
